In collaboration with world-renowned @gavinevansphotographer, the artists and I are portrayed without instruments to ensure that our individuality wasn’t tethered to the tools of their craft, whilst subtle image-solarisation - coupled with an ethereal, monochromatic theme - result in a collection of contemporary portraits that embody the free-spirit ethos of Freigeist.
The presentation is beautiful and it's certainly worth grabbing your copy - featuring my new arrangements of Mahler's Totenfeier and Strauss songs - available at all reputable music stores ASAP! 💿

My new album MEISTERSAAL SESSIONS / VOL. 1 with @freigeistmusic is out today on all digital platforms! 🥳 It features this incredible performance of Mahler‘s Totenfeier in my world premiere version for chamber orchestra, as well as beautiful Strauss songs with @marlis_petersen and a truly electrifying performance of Schoenberg’s Chamber Symphony No. 1! 😍🔥 This also marks my first full production as film director 🎬🎥 in which the wonderful musicians and cameramen had all too much patience to listen to me in double act! 😁😇 Huge thanks to everyone that made this dream a reality, including @lukas._.kowalski at @emilberlinerstudios and, in particular, D.O.P. @miggymenzel, without whom none of this project would have ever been possible. 🙏✌️

What a night! 🔥 After wonderful performances at @mupabudapest, @kissingersommer and @mojo_club, Bartók Beyond Borders came to an end at @saalchen_holzmarkt last weekend with the super-sonic soloists of @freigeistmusic and the incredible Christian Tetzlaff, @maralsalmassi_official, @ronybarrak, @po_nien and @nolwennbenichou performing my arrangements of Bartók's Violin Concerto No. 1, Miraculous Mandarin Suite and Dance Suite.
